Take part in a one-of-a-kind battle royale experience for 2-8 players. Each round, players select 2 cards to keep and 2 cards to pass to their opponents. Then, players engage in a fierce battle, using their selected spells to unleash the power of fire, harness the healing abilities of water, carefully craft valuable gems, or counter their opponents with electricity. Achieve victory by either being the last player standing or by accumulating 20 gems. The choice is yours.
Players start with 20 life and 0 gems. If you reach 20 gems, you win, but if you run out of life, you lose. Be the last one standing or the first to 20 gems to achieve victory.
The Elements deck contains 80 spells of each of the four Element types. Fire spells deal damage. Water spells restore health. Gem spells craft gems. Electric spells counter other spells. Master the elements to emerge victorious. Each spell has a power and a target. The power determines the size of the effect, and the target determines who is affected.
Spells of the same Element type can be combined and overpowered. You may combine multiple spells of the same element into a single spell. This combines their power and allows the caster to select any target from among those spells. You may overpower a spell by immediately casting another spell of the same Element type and greater power. This counters the previous spell and casts your spell.
Selection: each player is dealt 4 cards. They chose 2 to keep and 2 to pass (clockwise). After selection, players may purchase a powerful Greatspell to turn the tide of the game! Beware, you can only purchase one Greatspell per game.
Casting: Players take turns clockwise casting a spell or passing the turn without casting. The round ends when all players pass without casting in a row. At the end of the round, players discard their hands and a new round begins. Rounds continue until a player wins the game.
Between rounds, players can purchase a Greatspell for 8 gems. A player can only purchase one Greatspell per game. Greatspells do not take up hand space and are revealed face up. After a player casts a Greatspell, they hold on to it, face down. If a player loses with a Greatspell, it returns to the center.

The only thing we value more than style is gameplay, so come and give it a try!
Elements set out with an ambitious goal: to create a game for up to 8 players that's quick to learn in just 10 minutes, can be enjoyed in the same amount of time, fits in your pocket, and is available for under $20. It's the ideal portable and convenient party game for friends, families, coworkers, camping trips, parties, or school lunches. With Elements, nobody is left out, and everyone can jump right in. But it's not just about checking boxes; Elements had to be a "good game" — one that's replayable, fun, exciting, and social. Despite its simple rules and easy learning curve, Elements delivers exciting gameplay with tough decisions, evolving strategies, and opportunities for alliances in every round. The ideal party game not only checks the boxes; it makes you want to unbox it time and time again! We hope that Elements brings you together, experienced players and novices, at home or on the go, and with 2 players or with 8.
